To my future children,

You are extraordinary. I haven't even met your other parent yet but I know how extraordinary you are.

You make me so happy and I love you so much. Each and every one of you are beautiful unique, individuals and I am always proud of you and the people you will become.

I hope that the world you are living in is a good one. One that might finally be at peace, one where you no longer need to worry.

I hope that the life I am giving you makes you happy. I hope that you don't think I am doing something wrong because I promise you that I am trying my hardest every day.

Please remember to be kind to everyone, everybody has a story and you aren't always going to know it. Random acts of kindness go a long way.

Hold on to the things that you have now and never wish to be older than you are. Every day is a miracle and you will miss it when you grow up.

Never stop dreaming and always believe in yourself, no matter what anyone else says.

Remember that you can always say no. Never agree to something you don't want to do. 'No', will be one of the most important words that you know and is a full sentence.

Your grandparents love you with all their hearts and would do anything for you. Remember that they love you and spend as much time with them as you can. They will become some of the most important people in your life and you will miss them when they are gone.

Never feel like you have to fit in. Being different is ok and it usually makes you happier.

Remember to say thank you. Remember to say please. Your manners are important. They reflect the kind of person that you are and there is never a justifiable reason not to say thank you when someone has done you a favour.

To my sons, you can be sentimental. It is okay to cry and it is okay to tell people when you are hurting. You never have to hide and you never have to be anyone you don't want to be.

To my daughters, remember that you are brave. Things might be tough for you and people may treat you like you are weaker than you feel, but what you feel inside is what matters. Don't let anyone dim your light. You are beautiful and intelligent and stronger than you know.

When you get to the age where you begin to find me annoying, remember that you are the most important people in my life and no matter what, I will always love you.

Never stop fighting for what you believe in. If people don't understand, then educate them instead of getting frustrated.

Your best is always enough. You do not have to prove anything to me, I already know how amazing you are. If you tell me that you have tried your best, regardless of how much or little you achieved, I will be incredibly proud of you.

Finally, please remember that there is nothing that you could tell me that would make me love you less. No matter what you have done, no matter how you are feeling—you can tell me anything, and I will love you, support you and help you in anyway I can. My love for you is unconditional, and that will never change.

You are all strong. You are all powerful. You are all special. Never change who you are and never stop smiling.

Thank you for every tear, laugh, and memory.

I love you more than you will ever know.

Love from,

Mummy xx
